• Frequently Asked Questions

Can I still get support from Jet or her teammembers?
Jet and her previous team members currently work in different settings. You can always connect to ask for a referral and for help in transfering relevant information to a new therapist.

What happened with my (child’s) client file?
By law, the client file will be maintained for 20 years after the year the file was closed. In most cases, this was done at the date of your last appointment.

Within this time period, clients have a right to review their file(s), to request adjustment of the information where it is incorrect (refering to information shared by the client, the reflections of the psychologists cannot be adjusted) and to request to destroy (part of) their files.

Depending on the age of the client, parents/custodians may need to be involved in the execution of these rights.

You can read more about this in our privacy policy.

I have a complaint about the support that was offered at Embracing Horizons, what do I do?
We’re sorry to hear that. Please review our Complaints Policy here.

What happened with Embracing Horizons/Expat Child Psychology?
In 2023, Jet Sichterman closed the practice.

    How can I connect?
The general email address of Embracing Horizons (which can be found on your treatment plans and reports) as well as Jet Sichterman’s individual Embracing Horizons email address are still in use. It may take 2-4 weeks before you will receive a response by email. For more urgent matters, you can use Jet’s work phone number (06……71) and leave a voicemessage.

In order to avoid spam calling and emailing, contact details are not shared online anymore. If you no longer have access to any of our details, please connect through LinkedIn.
